Just wanted to say quick goodbye before you leave to Parris Island in the morning. I wish you all the luck in the world in your new endeavor and I know you will do well once you become a Marine. You are a wonderful young lady and I look forward to seeing you join the ranks of the world's greatest service. Make sure you post once you get back in 3 months to let us know how it was.

Thanks for the support everyone- GoatWalker is my best friend and practically my sister!

I have only recieved one letter so far but she says:

30 seconds to shower
1 minute to use the bathroom
5-7 minutes to eat as MUCH as possible- she is always hungyr (never take food for granted)
Yelling begins at 4:00 AM

She's one of the top in her group!

If anyone has any wishes or words for her please post them and I will send it to her in my next letter!

She should be home sometime mid-September for somewhere between 10 to 30 days, and then she must leave again.

Once her basic is out of the way, her life will be much easier. A lot less yelling, though you still have to eat pretty darn fast.
