The sun was high in the sky, it was already the middle of the day. Crimson had been asleep, until she was awoken by the chirping of a little, blue bird. She sighed as she looked up at the fluffy, white clouds. "If only.." she murmured quietly. She stood up and walked over to a long, thin stream. Crimson took a sip of the delicate water, then she glanced up at a large, golden chicken. "Do you realise that you're obstructing my drinking water, Ace?" Crimson asked, her voice was stern. She wasn't in the mood for Ace's jokes today.

"Bleh, I'm not obstructing anything." Ace said, childishly. He looked down at Crimson a grinned. He noticed that Crimson wasn't very happy today, not that she ever really showed her happiness. Ace crept closer to Crimson. He dare not ask why she was upset, as he remembered what happend last time. He watched as Crimson continued to drink the clear water.

April ran through the tall, dry grass. She loved this kind of freedom, her soft feathers blowing in the wind as if it was a dream. She smiled happily as she reached the border between chicken territory and turkey territory. She wanted to cross, but she was hesitant.
