At what age does a male turkey start to gobble?

My BBW's that are 12 weeks old are trying to gobble but compared to my fully adult birds it is a poor attempt at best! I had forgotten the sound of a fully mature gobble until I got my "new" flock a couple weeks ago. When those adult toms gobble the the only way I can describe it is like a bass drum. YOu can almost FEEL the vibration! lol

I have 2 Royal Palm toms approximately 3 months old that started gobbling over 3 weeks ago.

My tom gobbled the first time about 12-14 weeks old. It didn't really sound like a gobble

Now he gobbles very well, I think he's about 5 months old??

Mine hatched June 11th and they have been trying for nearly a week to gobble....so cute!

None of my 4 month old poults are gobbling, so they must be females!!!
