I have chick eggs in the bator now. Wanted to do more quail when they come out. But house is going to be full end of July so I have to wait until then and give the bator a rest. So button quail are real cute huh, hummmmmm. Maybe a few in a bird cage, hummm.
I already have about 60 chickens lots of ducks and geese and one quail...oh oh--I sense trouble ahead for me! Terri O
How can you just have 1 quail, it is so lonely. You have to get that bator going.
I did mine last night (07/03) just before midnight. No sign of anything happening yet, but 16 days sounds like the absolute minimum time frame, so I'm not concerned.
I have said "I'm done incubating for the year" Probably 50 times since I started incubating 2 years ago. The only time I actually stuck with the statement was when I said it December 29th of last year....We needed the counter space as we were having family over for a late new years eve dinner. It was up and running again with eggs set January 1st.... I don't have anymore room...but I can't stop.

Let us know how yours do as well, please.
Okay, I will sure do that!
Um, Question: I also have 8 chicken eggs in the bator w/ the quail eggs due to hatch the 12th. So I still have to turn them. I know you aren't suppost to open the bator during lockdown but ... you see my problem?
