I have 24 quail, going into the hatcher tomorrow. The air cells vary in size, but most fill less than 30% of the egg. Humidity has varied from 40 to 55 throughout the incubation period. Anything I can do last minute to increase their size?

SILLY QUESTION ALERT............ but i am curious

when a momma chicken is sitting on eggs she does not go into lock down if anything her butt would be getting sore and want to get up

so why do we go into lock down when we have eggs in a bator?

With chickens those last 2 or 3 days they generally don't get up...they stick very stick to the nest...so in their own way they are on lockdown.
