I am going into lurker mode now.

Mainly, I am sick to death of all the bickering on the goat threads...I mean seriously...to those of you who bicker (yes, yes, I can be talking to myself here, too)...are you sure that your way is the ONLY way? Just asking. Because maybe, just MAYBE...there are other ways to do things and do them well.

    I need a break! Whew...[IMG]

I have 5 does getting close to kidding, one being the doe that BYC members chose a husband for. Of course, as kids come I'll announce it - everyone loves a baby goat.

You can find me by PM or by email.

Ta ta for know...hopefully be back SOON with kiddos.

I'm sorry to hear this. [IMG] Being new to the world of goats, I have looked forward to your posts and have learned a lot. I understand your reason for taking a break, though. Hope to see you back soon and I look forward to seeing your new babies!

    helmstead,

So sorry you feel this way, so very sorry this has come about.

I love reading your posts, and you are regarded as the authority on goats.

You are by me anyway, even when you are not obviously online you are the first to offer help and support.

I will miss your posts and you pictures of your goats. I have learned so much from you.

I hope you feel better soon.

Aww thanks, guys. I'll be here, just taking some 'mental health days' I suppose, trying to stay out of the fire.

That's one of the things I like about the chicken threads...most people are VERY nice and don't always have to be right! I used to frequent a well-known equine forum and do not anymore...simply because I got so sick & tired of everyone always having the right idea, the best horses, the only way of doing things, etc. Ick.

Alot of people would learn new ways (and possibly better ways) to do things, if they would just listen, and not assume thier way is the right and only way. [IMG] I know where you coming from helmstead.

I've noticed that you haven't been posting as much lately, I'm assuming that's why. You'll be missed but we all know where to fine you.

You should write a book, I know we'd all support you and buy a copy or two [IMG]

Sorry about this, Kate. Some people are just too stubborn for their own good. As far as Im concerned, you're the Goat Queen.
