Well... After much discussion, we had already decided to spawn a few Bantys into the world, today is day 17, I've been turning 3 times a day and we are ready for this new batch of kids. I somehow had my wires crossed and thought Bantys only incubated for 18 days, so I had already moved them I to our still air bator and we floated them day before yesterday... We had two sinkers, but the rest floated nice and low... And we had a couple kickers but nothing spectacular, which is my own fault.
So... I'm kind of excited again to see what we get from this batch. This batch of 18 in the still air right now and another batch of 18 along with 12 call duck eggs in the bator with the turner and fan...
As much as I'm addicted to this process... I had to say no more after the call ducks and next batch of Bantys.... I love them, but it's getting just a tad overwhelming with so many to care for, and I just had surgery 2 days ago on my right hand! So... Say a few prayers for me and I will try to post updates as I can.
