Just had to share. It's so fun going to the feed store. All the people there recognize me and when I buy 150 lbs of feed, the guys in the back always laugh and make comments about my car since it is a 2 door sports coupe. Usually it's stuff like, I bet that car goes fast, how fast does it go?, do you race it?, do you really want to put feed in it? Why did you bring that lexus out here, you'll get dirt on it!?!? What's its top speed? Must be expenisve with the gas prices now, What is it's 0-60 times...

This last time though, I didn't back in as far as usual to the dock, one noticed my license plate holder ("All men are animals... But some make good pets" and asked me what I had against guys, I said nothing, they buy me things... and they all started laughing and making fun of the first person who noticed it. haha It was hilarious watching the guys pick on each other. Boys are so silly. No offense to the guys on here.

Too funny! I have a Audi A3 which is smaller than yours, its like a small wagon and I always feel "funny" putting my horse feed, pine shavings, chicken feed etc in it. The feed store guys always give me weird looks but they never say anything! I haven't stretched as far as I saw one lady did, putting hay in a garbage bag so it wouldn't mess up her Mustang! I just don't put hay in mine yet...DH would KILL me. I think that a truck is in our near future despite that fact that DH hates them. (gotta get something to pull a horse trailer!)

sounds to me like you chicks need to trade off your fancy cars.an get a suv or a small truck to haul your feed in.

Haha, but its too much fun! Becides, I can't get rid of the fancy car! It's my second hobby, I can't go to lexus meets with a diapered chicken on a leash without actually having a lexus.

If I need to get straw or dirty things I go with my dad. He has the 8 foot bed chevy which last year I piled in about 30 bales of field grass from after haloween from the supermarket! For Free!

I stopped at the feed store once in my car, it's a 2006 Mustang GT. But I didn't pull into the lot because it's all gravel and didn't want to get my car dirty. I was only buying one bag of chicken feed and one of the guys insisted on helping me out with it. He started cracking up when I pointed to my car.

I also won't take my car out in the rain or if it even looks like it might rain.

I wish I could just not take the car out when it wasn't or looked like it was going to rain. It rains from like October till June, and looks like its going to rain for about half of the remainder of the year.
