Just like to let everyone know that I am planning on getting some nice Rosecomb Bantams in the spring of 2011. I am trying to obtain Khaki, Crele, Barred, Mottled, Black, White and Red Pyle. I am also ordering a Standard of Perfection so I can weed out the ones that don't meet the standard. I will only keep and breed the best, preferably only breed the ones who have won ribbons etc.
I am NOT ordering from a hatchery. Those are so far away from being even close to the standard that I don't even want to think of how much work it would take to get those back to the standard...
It will probably take a while depending on if I order eggs or adult birds... but if I order birds then I may be able to sell eggs by the end of the spring. I will probably get a mix of eggs and adults when I start out.
Would like to know what you think! And if anyone has any tips
