Going to get some eggs!!! PIC ADDED!!

My friend Lisa is giving me some quail eggs! I'm going over this afternoon to pick them up. Got my bator going and hoping for a good hatch this time.

I saw baby quail for the first time last year at a local feed store. I never realized how small they are when hatched. Good hatching vibes coming your way!!

Just got back from Lisa's and look what I got, 40 speckled corturnix eggs.

I also got 10 silkie eggs and 4 silkie chicks. Thank you Lisa!

They are all snug in my bator.

Except the chicks they are in the brooder.

I can't wait for some to hatch. My results have been less than spectacular thus far, but I have seen some people wo say its like watch ing popcorn pop when they start hatching, that sounds too cool to watch!! I can't wait to get a clutch of em going again, and to watch as you post more about yours hatching!

My first try was with shipped eggs that went out during Christmas time. Out of 17 eggs only 2 hatched. I picked these up myself and handled them with care. So I'm hoping for better results this time.
