Going to look at a Mini Zebu Heifer tomorrow..............

I am fairly sure that white park/highland bull was baught from the Mt Hope Ohio exotic auction. He looks JUST like the one that sold last month. Cant imagine there are that many of that mix that looks just like that one. I think it sold for $350

Not to be rude lasergrl, but that is kind of unfair. That is why most buy at auctions. To buy cheap and sell at the going rate. The same goes for cars, houses, jewelry, etc.... That is the only way businesses make a profit. We know a lot of farmers that do this. Dh and I haven't done it ourselves because we are just too scared of bringing a disease home to our current animals/farm. They are not only getting the animal cheap, but they most times have to put a lot of time (time is money and farmer's value their time) and money into the animal to bring it back to health, some train it, etc.... Kind of like buying a fixer upper house really cheap, then putting "time and money" into fixing it and selling it at the going rate. I believe in one of his post he even made mention that the animal was on the skinny side, but that would change when it leaves his farm.

We have a red & white spotted zebu heifer that was born a month ago, she is for sale to be picked up when weaned this fall. Or we have a little yearling black heifer for sale too.
