I bought my first four pullets the end of March and they were a couple of weeks old. When can I put them in the coop? It's running mid 50's to 60's here during the day. I can bring them in at night if I need to, but I'd really like to get them in the coop. Thanks.

If they have all their feathers and lost the fuzzy look they should be just fine. I usually try to time my temps like yours are when mine are around 7-8 weeks old. They can go out around then...although you didn't mention a breed. You should be fine but be diligent at watching your temps outside and be sure you don't let them get soaking wet and then have 40 degree temps overnight...enjoy!

I usually do 8 weeks old. If they were being raised by a hen she would have kicked them out long, long before that. Just make sure to watch the temperatures but, if they're inside a coop they should be fine for temps like 30-40's.

Sorry for not listing breeds; Silver laced Wyandotte, Light Brahma, Mystery chic [think it's a leghorn], two EE, Blue Langsham, Black Cochin, Barred Cochin. At what temp is it too cold and should I bring them in? The mystery chic is quite large [compared to the others] and almost fully feathered. The Light Brahma too....Is fully feathered the key? Thanks for all the help!
