No, in the case of your roo I would say its more of a Golden Cuckoo pattern, but what you were saying isnt really how it works. Barring is the gene responsible for the strip looking effect. Cuckoo is barring in on rapid feathering bird which makes the barring blurred and less distinct. But if you had nice crisp barring on a slow feathering bird and if it were a gold color then it could be called Buff Barred or Gold Barred but there really isnt anything set in stone to where it would make much of a difference either way.
