One of two things could have happened. Either those chicks aren't actually from this pair. Or the hen has been with a different rooster and wasn't separated long enough for her chicks to be pure.

Oh man, that sucks. What do you think I should say to her? It’s just, if these chicks aren’t Pekins, I don’t really feel like wasting my time and feed raising them.

Personally I wouldn't bother with her. I'd just sell them and find different ones...from a different breeder.
