Gold Laced Wyandotte - Rooster or Hen

Hi, We have never had chickens before so this is a first for us. We have 2 Polish and 2 Wyandotte.

The question we have is our Gold Laced Wyandotte a cockerel or a pullet ? She is aprox 5 - 6 months old, not crowing or laying eggs.

He's certainly a dude, long, flowy and pointy hackle and saddle feathers are a dead give away, he's very handsome!

both look like Roos to me. Those green feathers are going to look good as plumage when they mature... you sure they’re both 5-6 months? My golden laced Wyandotte roo had his green feathers sticking up by 6months.

Green feathers don't necessarily mean roo, all my hens that have black on them have green sheen.

Both the Gold Laced and Silver Laced are definitely cockerels

It looks like a roo to me from this angle but I can't say for certain

I believe I see male saddles, so I would say cockerel there also.
