gold start with dark smelly liquid in crop

this is the second gold star in two months that that's has a smelly dark liquid in her crop.. she has lost weight and acts dizzy.. I tipped her upside down and drained her crop and then she drank fresh water and ate some food. is this something that happens to this breed, the last time the chicken made it about 2 weeks then got up into the nest and died.. they are free range but no other ones are sick.

There are lots of threads here about sour crop. I wonder if this is what it was, and if it is perhaps from something they are eating.

I had a light brahma that was given to me with this same problem. I turned the chick upside down and drained the crop daily. I then gave the chick ACV in it's water and offered scrambled eggs as a meal. The crop was so bad inn this case it actually started to bust and drain on it's own. I did this for two weeks with the ACV and the gets. I only drained the crop the
