Gold X Silver Seabright?

i want to take one of my golden rooster to the little silve hen and hope to get some more silvers with a better type. will this produce silvers?

I also have a silver rooster i want to breed to a golden hen.

If you are trying to improve the size of your silvers by using your larger golds put a nice silver male onto nice gold females. All offsping ought to appear silver. Take only the females from this cross & put back into your silver line. Do not use the male offspring as they are carrying a gold gene.

ok so i cant keep any of the roosters because they only appear silver and it will screw up my breedline? Makes sense.

so all of these hens will be silvers that i could breed with again with a silver rooster and those male offspring would be true silvers right?

Yes, you ought to be able to use the silver females as normal silvers.​
