Golden Comet chicks-- experienced eyes--any roosters?

From what i have read and understood the previous statement i said is true and that as day old until feathers the cockerels will be more white and then pullets will be a redish tint. I can't really see the pictures that well but maybe that bnit of info will help. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Sex-links/BRKSexLink.html here is a great example about half way down the page. It shows both sexes at 6 weeks and again at 8 months.

Thanks. When I look at the Cacklehatchery photo it makes me think that we have all hens, because even our chick with the lighter head isn't nearly that light.

I appreciate the help from everyone. We've been told the farm would be willing to trade if we have any roosters (when they get back from vacation) but it's really hard to figure out if that one chick is light enough to conclude he's a rooster.

Are these REAL golden comets, as the original hybrid cross (which I forget what it is, RIRs and Leghorns maybe?) or are these a cross of a golden comet rooster and golden comet hens? Because, if its the second cross, they will not be sex linked. If they are the first generation cross, they should be easy to sex.

I honestly don't know. I'm not in touch with the farmer who created/bred?? them and my contact is out of town on vacation. So you're saying if they are second generation, we may not be able to tell who is male and who is female until they're older?

Right. Second generation, all bets are off. Since some of them do have stripes down their back, Id be thinking that they are probably first generation, but I don't know much about golden comets except they are great egg layers.
