I've got some Golden Comet Pullets their 6 months old and nobody is laying they get 18 hours light, I keep there feeders full, keep them water at all times they never run out 450 of them go through 150lbs of Faithway crumples 16%. What could I do to get them laying they are going to put me in dept I could use some help??????????????????????

On your other thread, I already went through a few possibilities for why they aren't laying yet. Overcrowding stress, and the low protein feed are likely big contributors for your issue.

I think I just read your post on another forum. Hope the advice you got there was helpful and answered your questions.

Best of luck to you and thanks for joining us!

Hello and Welcome to BYC.

I don't use supplemental light, so someone with experience can correct me :) But I wonder if 18 hours is too much and maybe the duration of the light is a stress

Junebuggena gave you very good reasons why your pullets are not laying. None of us have "miracles," up our sleeve. Since they have gotten off to a wrong start, they may not lay till spring
