It has really been exciting to watch how these Golden Comets behave. They are totally having a ball. They will be 4 weeks on Tuesday. They fight like on the football field for the worms LOL. But what's even more exciting is watching the kids and how much they are getting attached.

This is my 15 year old in the box with 11 Comets. I guess this is what he calls bonding time with the ladies LOL

So cute!!! Looks like boys are having fun with chickens. I always wanted golden comets. I heard they start laying early and then produce a lot of eggs a week. :D

Yes. I'm actually shocked that the boys have taken so well to them. My 15 year-old takes time to make sure they have enough water and food he even has one that he argues with because it pecks him. He refuses to let him have the upper hand LOL

They bring so much joy! I got chicks for the first time 7 weeks ago and have loved every minute of it. I always wanted them since I was a kid. I'm glad your boys get to experience them while they are young! I wish my niece and nephews could come see my chicks and enjoy them, but they cannot due to Covid. :hit

I agree. My grandparents had a farm with animals and I grew up with a family gardening but we did not have farm animals. We had everything else though! LOL my daughter who is now 24 at first was like she wasn't going to touch nothing. She's the one that got most attached to one of them that she calls dinner LOL because it pooped on her. But she is the one that I least expected to have anything to do with them and yet she has to have a say in how they are cared for everyday lol
