I have two golden comets as well and from what I've read up on them, they tend to start laying earlier than other breeds. Other breeds tend to start around 5 months if I'm not mistaken. My two girls are 13 weeks now so if goldnchocolate's started at 16 weeks I guess I won't be waiting much longer.
Their faces are pinking up real nice but their combs are still pale so who knows. My EE is the same age and she is bright pink. I'm thinking she may beat them to the first egg.
Also, I have to say that I love my comets personalities. They are super friendly, spunky and are always the first ones to come running for the gate when they see me.
