Golden lace wing nail torn off with bleeding

You can pack it with quick-stop (for dogs nails) or cornstarch. Expect it to reopen for a couple days (retreat as needed) it’s a good idea to crate them at first so they give the blood a chance to coagulate and not be bumped & bleed.
Exactly where I learned it, cut my greyhounds nails a little close a few times over the years. They don’t stop bleeding easily!

I should clarify I noticed when roosted for night so she wasn’t moving on it.

Nope....just dip the end of the toe in. Any blood or moisture will make it stick. The powder binds with the blood and it makes its own ...paste.
Kinda like a fake scab lol
Oh wow...thanks. Though I hope this will be the one and only time, having all these options is very helpful.

Yes, I understand. She was still walking around when I found it was her, though a bit of a limp. In the carrier, she doesn't have room to move around and it's night so she'll be off it at least til morning. I'll see then if she bleed anymore. She's quiet and off to sleep for now.
