golden laced wyandotte pullets at what age will the start laying

i hope so. my 6 cinnamon queens, 2 just started laying friday they devolped fast as they are a breed that is known to be good layers that was 20 weeks and 2 days . the other 4 queens should be laying any day too.

Well, I am still waiting....my 3 GLW's are around 20 weeks old and no eggs so far. Wattles and comb on 2 have gotten quite red in the last couple of weeks. I am not sure if the 3rd one is maybe a week younger....she was always a bit smaller (I got them at approx 3 weeks old), now caught up in size bu her wattles are only 1/2 the size of the others. Also her comb is less developed and kinda grey-ish....But I am waitng for eggs.....anyday now.....I'm ready....where are they....

They are not a 'fast' developing breed from what I've researched. They are slower to grow and lay, maybe this is why they arent as popular as other breeds here. Mine hatched April 3rd and I'm expecting october eggs. MMMmmm

My girls hatched on the first of Jan (mid summer here) and at 7 month of age they still have yet to lay an egg.... Their wattles and combs began to redden at 6 months but still no egg 1 month on.... thankfully we keep other hens for eggs so we wont starve while we are waiting

My goldens are 23 weeks and nothing yet, red combs but not too much of a Waddle tho. They are getting big tho. I'm wondering if our daylight savings time threw them out of wack. It's time turn on the light, perhaps that will jump start them. Anyone have any tips? Besides don't hold your breath lol
