Golden Laced Wyandotte Roo?

Can you tell because of the comb? We have two mystery chicks as well. Bought a few mixed chicks from a tailgate sale and think we may have two Golden Laced

yes. For the age, that's a very large and bright comb; indicating a cockerel. A pullet won't get so big and red for quite some time.

Thank you! I will try to get some new pics of ours. Their combs are just starting to turn red!

The comb thing is all dependent on age. A cockerel can start turning red early, from 4 weeks in some cases, but will be red by the time their 8 weeks. A pullet will start to turn red about 16 weeks on.

Seeing these photos puts me at ease that my GLW is a pullet. It was straight run so I knew it would be 50/50 of getting a female. Here is mine at nine weeks. Note the difference in combs from mine to yours?
