Golden Laced Wyandotte Thread!

Pics
Hi everyone,
I posted this question on the tread for raising chicks but no one replyed so i thought i would try this actual GLW thread... Im new to chicks but loving my GLW! I have 10 chicks now 8 weeks old.. Ive noticed that half of them are not growing back feathers, an even a few on tail feathers. They all seem to be the ones i think might be roos too.. The others that i am pretty sure are hens seen to have filled out nicely.. Is this normal, do roos take longer to get feathers or should i be concerned? Any advise would be great!

If you go back a page, there is a picture of my GLW rooster and the backside of a pullet...maybe you can compare?? Mine are 7 weeks in the picture.

Thanks, and no they seem much balder than that.. The pullets are filled out beautifully. It just seems like its the potential roos are bald on there backs and even a few w no tail feathers.... Im feeding them grower, a bit of scratch feed.. Is there anything else that would encourage feather growth.. If anyone can give any suggestions or even tell me if this is normal or a problem...

Can you post some pictures? I have a friend who had some chicks that took a lot longer to feather out... When you say bald... what do you mean?

It could be feather picking too... I have never had a GLW roo... SO, I personally couldn't say...

I will see if i can get some pics on my computer cause i cant seem to post pics to the site from my phone... I havent noticed any feather picking, an ive spent a lot of time with them but that doesnt mean they dont do it when im not there... Ill try to get some pics up
