I think he is Black Laced and i know for sure that his sis is a Golden Laced cuz i have two of my own Golden Laced Wyandottes! Hope i helped!

Hello,

I have two GLW and live in Florida, I am trying to find out if they are cold hardy or not, and if I should supply them an additional heat source.

Wyandottes are very winter hardy! In Florida you will not have to worry about them getting cold. My wyandottes do really good here in northern Idaho and we have very cold winters and lots if snow. I wouldn't worry about them at all if I were you.

I am in Michigan... I don't provide any heat, just a dry, draft free home and a leaf filled covered run. Mine even go out in the snow on occasion.

I love my goldens, they really have come around friendly wise since I started feeding them treats. Now I can't keep them off my lap.
