My big GLW roo. 2 years old, well mannered, king of my mixed flock. Didn't get him from a hatchery, but not show lines either.

MY GLW Jemima is playing hide and seek again but you can tell where she has been by the trail of destruction - she's knocked the plant pot over and moved the kids ball.
Can you see her?

BOO! here I am mom! look at me!

She is a lovely bird, the whole family's favourite, but she has an evil streak.
She hates the garden birds starlings and hunts them. no joke.

She presses herself right into the floor in 'stealth mode' and moves slowly across to the 'prey'. Jumps on the poor thing, makes sure its passed on and sits in front of it honking and crowing until I go out and find her 'present'

I'm thinking of changing her name to Deathwing.

yuk.

I'm brand new to chickens. This is what I think to be glw, idk if pullet or cockerel - very moody though. Always attacks me for getting the food, water, and other chicks. Lol any ideas? Someone saw another picture of all six together and automatically said it was a cockerel. It's about 4-5 weeks old.

Mine look just like this about 4 weeks. I don't know on gender either! Everyone says cockerel cause I guess GLW pullets don't have any pink in comb at this age....?

US NEWBIES NEED HELP!! lol

My males were marked for me but I noticed the tops where the comb is was looking that fleshy pinkish/red, and the tips of some of their feathers were grayish/white.
At 6 weeks they are showing some pinkish/red under there chins. The girls haven't started yet. They just turned 6 wks. to day
