Golden Laced Wyandotte?

Well, most hatchery black sex links are created from a Rhode Island Red male over a barred Rock female. The genetics of the offspring of a hatchery cross will be different from a cross of a gold laced Wyandotte male over a barred Rock female. The phenotype (appearance of the bird) of the 2 crosses may look the same (black or barred) but the genotype is different (they carry different genes). Therefore if both are bred to a gold laced Wyandotte the outcome will be different.
