I have 4 golden layer ducklings from the feed store that are about 7 weeks old. Two of them look to be getting distinctly blue wing feathers. That’s not normal right?

I can get some pics later when they go outside. We are still building their pen (hopefully done this weekend) so I take them out to the pasture twice a day to forage and swim.

It’s harder to see them up close outside, I just hate to only show pictures in the mucky garage. We will all be happy when they can be outside next week. There are two with the blue, the pictures are close up of one but they look alike. The smaller duck was the same size as the others at 1 week and then around 3 weeks he stopped growing for about 10 days.
He’s growing well and getting his juvenile feathers now and he seems to be smarter than the others. He follows directions well at pool time and bed time. The others not so much.
Just wondering if anyone had any idea about the golden layer coloring. Nothing I’ve read said they might have blue on their wings.

That’s what I was wondering. The Welsh Harlequins look like they should, but I’m unsure of the others.

Also, forgive the crap around the pool they are stubborn about getting in so we have building material obstacles around the stairs so they will head that way to get in.
