It’s harder to see them up close outside, I just hate to only show pictures in the mucky garage. We will all be happy when they can be outside next week. There are two with the blue, the pictures are close up of one but they look alike. The smaller duck was the same size as the others at 1 week and then around 3 weeks he stopped growing for about 10 days.
He’s growing well and getting his juvenile feathers now and he seems to be smarter than the others. He follows directions well at pool time and bed time. The others not so much.
Just wondering if anyone had any idea about the golden layer coloring. Nothing I’ve read said they might have blue on their wings.
They are very pretty!

Thanks! I think they’re beautiful. It’s so fun to watch them swim and forage every day. When they’re in the garage they are more skittish, but outside they’re very funny.
I just have to get their predator proof housing finished so they can be outside. Their house will be an insulated metal shed that is 80 sq feet and their run will be 220 sq ft. The kiddie pool will be next to it in the pasture so they can swim and free range during the day when I can supervise them.
