Some of my Goldens.

I only have one pair and they are young. I have a large cage that I am keeping them indoors while I build them an outdoor pen. The outdoor cage will be 10'x10'.
I am having some problems posting pictures. An error pops up saying (You don't have permission to create attachments). I will post some when I am able to do so.

I picked them up last night(sat) all are doing well and looking great.I got away from these breeds years ago because I had raised them for about 16 years.I started to get into the little more expensive birds, and a friend of mine raised these goldens,Amherst, silvers, and temm.He sold me all the chicks they hatched for at least 12 years, and between his hatches and my own,I had plenty of birds to sell in the fall.I wouldn't have bought them, but they produce so many chicks for him(and me) over the years I figured I better buy them. When I went to pick them up,he wouldn't accept any money. He plans on raising birds again later on so I told him when he is ready he can pick whatever he wants from my collection at no charge. He will also be hatching some eggs for me in hatching season as I use 2 r-com incubators that will not carry the load.He said that was the best part of raising birds was the hatching for future generations.
Thank you very much Wayne you are an excellent friend for many years.
