Golden Polish with foot lesion?

Squeezing the top abscess oozes and the pressure causes her discomfort. The bottom are like calluses. Changing to daily treatment is probably our next move.

Whoa I was just going to make a thread asking about the same thing on one of my hens I just noticed it yesterday and had a look today. Look like I'll be treating her fir bumble food too !

We well finally got the core out. It measures about 5/8” length and about 1/4” in diameter. Cleaned the wound with peroxide followed by isopropyl alcohol and covered with 24ppm Silver Wound Dressing and wrapped. She’s spending the night inside to hopefully expedite healing. Plan is to check and change dressing tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
So we basically soaked in epsom salt every 2 days or so until I was able to remove with out cutting but it did leave a large hole. That's the main reason I decided to isolate her to keep activity to a minimum. I didn't get a picture of the open wound as I wanted to get it cleaned and dressed as quick as possible.
