You sound like me. I used to have some of everything. The last few years I have scaled back to just my favorite pet chickens. Now I am geared up and ready to go.

I love different breeds. The jersey, cochins and marans are my favorite. The andy's are so pretty though.

Good morning... where are you located in Pennsylvania? I'm interested in getting some blue marans.

I have a couple of silkies, light brahmas, EE, a Buff orp, cuckoo Marans, polish, some cochin bantams, GS marans(almost ready to lay) and then 1 wheaton marans chick, 2 cuckoo marans chicks, 5 gs marans chicks and a bunch of mutts. Oh I forgot the frizzle cochins.
My favorites are a 6 year old buff silkie hen, Aurelia and a silkie, polish and oe cross hen, Marigold.

I live in western pa, north of pgh. The marans are not laying real good right now but hopefully soon.

The 12 eggs I got produced 8 eggs of good viability. The offer was for 6 eggs so I am happy. They went off the turner today in my hatcher so now just sit on hands and wait.
