hi. I just had a question about some chicks I just got from TSC. I went in to get a couple silkies they had from the bantam bin. They only had four and since you have to buy six I ended up with two mystery chicks. I've established one is a golden seabright and one is a porcelain d'uccle. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania and understand these two breeds are not cold tolerant. Is it possible for them to survive here? It got quite cold last winter and I would hate for them to freeze to death this coming winter. Thanks for any help.

Keep them together and make sure in the winter they are kept warm. They should be adults by then. I had both Sebright and D'Uccles that survived cold winters. My Porcelain D'Uccle has survived many of them as she is now over 13 years old.
