(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’m pretty new started accumulating them about a year ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 17 hens 8 chicks and 2 roosters
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a mix started with Rhode Island reds then got barred rocks, an ameraucana, leghorns, marans and some others.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I was on google try to figure out if my Ameraucana is a rooster or hen and brought me to this sight a couple times.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like being outdoors, boating, going to the beach,traveling
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My name is Vanessa, I started out with two dogs, then when I moved in with my boyfriend we just started collecting animals it seemed. Now we have a mini farm. Which includes 4 dogs, 2 mini pigs, 6 ducks, 2 rats, some fish and 27 chickens. He would like to add a goat and peacocks but we shall see.
