Goldlaced x buff orpingtons
got 3 lovely little chicks.
God I am gonna be on pins waiting to see what colour they will be. Anyone have any ideas, they are such a stunning lavender/blue and gold. One has slight freckling. Any ideas as I am just chuffed they are so cute. Hubby saw them when he got home and declared them extremly cute but he really loves orpingtons and he never knew he did till his first hatched (Cuckoo Orpington named pingu)

Are you in England? If you are lucky you....we don't have gold laced orps here (US)

yes I'm in the UK. Goldlaced are lovely.
I would have loved some Lavender but 6 eggs are minimum of £50 here. and Trios if any ever available are £200 plus.
I did buy some white Orpington eggs and out of 6 only 1 was fertile, and well, It ain't wait. It's either Cuckoo or Mottled. Yet to tell when all her feathers come in properly.

it's starting to look like the one with speckles on it's head has partridge feathers coming in on it's wings. the 2 blue with orange are getting Orange primary flight feathers now. Really interesting waiting to find out what colour they will be

Can't help with the color...sorry... but I just wanted to say that are such pretty chicks. I hope you keep us posted on their growth so we can see how they look in weeks to come!!
