Golf balls won't hatch...

Well I have never had a broody hen before so it took me a bit to figure out that my girl was not just sleeping in the nest box she was trying to hatch the golf balls with no luck

poor confused girl

I decided to give it a shot and I slipped 3 fertile eggs under her to replace the 3 golf balls

now we will wait and see if she continues to sit.

Maybe if she hatched the golf balls you would have gotten a bag of rubber bands.

lol probably better they dont hatch, I saw a kid melt one open once, fortunately no injuries but he was picking melted rubber band bits out of his hair afterwards.
