I think she is hiding 10 pups in there. My friend had two girls whelp at the same time - ended up with 22 puppies in the house.

This breeding is the result of 2 1/2 yrs of planning so it was in no way entered into lightly or spur of the moment.

And I do hope both parents went through the appropriate screening so that the puppies will in fact be healthy, rather than die young from cancer, or heart disease, or live painful lives with crippling hip dysplasia.

So, here's to healthy puppies, however many are in there.

your dog is a beautiful pregnant mama, and I hope you post the pictures of the babies... I'm guessing 7 big healthy babies! If she does in fact have 7 babies, then that will be 7 households blessed with a new family member... 7 families to have a new friend to share happy / sad moments of life with...
