Sorry I have not updated in a while. Things have been a bit crazy here lately.
Today the injured chicks went to live outside in their own pen.
They will be reintroduced to the flock as soon as the injured roo (I still think it is a roo) grows some feathers on his head.
I finally got my daughter to upload pics for me. They were taken with a camera phone and are less than great photos.
This is the injured roo right after we cleaned him off after the injury. You can only see some of the damage because of the angle and towel. Bubbles were coming out of his skull every time he opened his mouth.
We couldn't even tell if he still had eyes. The skin was missing almost down to his shoulders.
This is him today.
He has regrown the skin on his head and neck.
This is the first injured chick right after the attack.

Do u have a swimming pool or live near the beach??
Does a really big ditch with flowing water count?
We have a beach about 15 minutes away.
Wonder if I could talk the DH into taking me to FLorida for a vacation with a side trip to pick up a roo?? think I might just run that by him! I'll let u know!
