Good brooder box?

I was wondering if this is a good brooder box to use for my 2.5 weekers after I put the stuff in. Yay or nay?

It is probably not the best for when the chicks are older. When they are older they will be able to peck at the box and destroy it. Make sure that the box is temporary until you can find another solution.

Ok. The chicks are temporary too. I just thought because it’s bigger than what I am using. I will one keep them to about 3 or 4 weeks

They will probably fly out by 2-3 weeks. Do you have something you can cover the top with to prevent them from getting out? Also how many chicks are you putting in there?

I have 4. When I'm not watching over them, I put the sides up so it is taller.

I also got them new equipment such as feeders, waterers, and a treat. They love it so far!

Don't assume raising up the sides will keep them in. By 2 weeks mine would fly up 2 feet and sit on top of the brooder when I let them out. By 3 weeks, they can go up probably 3 feet, etc.
