I will post of pic of what I am trying to turn into a coop , I already have the wood for the run , but I need osb plywood for the coop itself . The treehouse is cedar that is stained that is 13 years old that is still very sturdy and not rotting .

the slide is off as well as the ladder and the monkey bars . Covering the bottom with plywood and leaving the top alone . The run will be were the monkey bars used to be .

You can always add on a bit to the sides to make the run bigger. But I think it'd be cool to start with that considering you just gifted yourself 90% of the framing needed.

Lol. And plus it was free and good wood as cedar is naturally rot resistant . The run is 4ft 1/2 high , 5ft wide , and about 8ft 1/2 long

I'd suggest making the run at least two inches taller than yourself - hunching over is going to get old faster than you think. If its one thing I've learned on here, it's never to build a run that's shorter than you! LOL.
