good eating?

Hi--I have a possible option of Bourbon Red-Royal Palm cross turkeys on Craig's List. Is this a good eating combination? They are 4 months old, $10, so it seems like a great deal! Thanks in advance for any help.

At that price you can't go wrong. The palms have a very good taste but they have a shallow breast bone so they don't have alot of breast meat - they were never really bred for table birds. The bourbons are our 2nd fav. after midget whites.

Thanks, Steve. We have BRs and love their taste. No experience with the RPs, though, so I think I will try them. Once they're mature and table ready, I'll try to remember to get back on here and let everyone know if they were tasty
