I used to watch him religiously - then I got rid of cable/satellite...don't find him eye candy but he is entertaining & educational @ the same time which isn't so bad...

Our whole family loves him . I tried so man recipes. The only one my DH didnt like was the Broccoli Casserole, which i loved.

Alton Brown brought cooking science to the masses, and that's a great contribution. However, in my opinion, he and all the other Food Network chefs are sell-outs now. I guess it's pretty hard to resist when the sponsors are driving dumptrucks full of money up to their houses.

Oh, and a few of the FN "chefs" are pretty lame, they're really just personalities rather than chefs. I won't mention any names....(RR) hehehehe........

I'm with you Hens. I'm pretty selective about what I watch on there. I like learning the science behind the cooking which is why I still love Good Eats.
We're also addicted to Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Man, that show makes me so hungry!!!

I love Diners DriveIns and Dives!!!! Once they made a pancake and fried an egg in the middle. I wish I could do that but I have a hard enough time flipping large pancakes......
