Alton's still hosting Iron Chef. And who knows? He may come up with another show of his own before toooooo terribly long.

He is one person I would LOVE to meet and hang out with for the day. I wanna go grocery shopping with him. Come on, Alton, let's go to the Farmer's Market.

I also wouldn't mind hanging out with Nathan Lyon. Give me a whoop whoop if you know who he is.

Oooh I dig Good Eats. Of all the things Alton has made I love his recipe for meatloaf. The only thing I do differently is use a 9x13 and double the topping to spread over the whole thing. Next month when the weather gets cooler I'll make some. I also dig his food science and anthropology plus his whackyness.

What I just can't wait to see right now on Food Network is The Next Iron Chef. They have a fantastic line up of chefs competing this season. I can't wait to see what Jeffrey Zacharian and Alex Guarnacelli do. And look out for Anne Burell she knows that kitchen through and through.
