Hi, just joined this evening, although I've been on the site a multitude of times

I live in rural Washington outside of the Seattle area and I love my chickens! I have 5 adults- which include 2 bard rocks, 2 sex link, and an americauna! I also have 7 chicks- 2 americaunas, 2 French marans, and 3 olive eggers. I'm pretty sure both my marans are roosters

which stinks because i was looking forward to those beautiful dark eggs, but with 12 chickens it can't hurt to have a Roo in the coop, right!

Sounds like you have a lovely flock! Yes, it is always nice to have a rooster in the flock. Keep both of them til you can tell their personality and keep the nice one. Enjoy all those eggs!!
