I just finished my first successful hatch. I was at 50% for the first 18 days and 60% (sometimes not quite that) during lockdown and I hatched 13 out of 16. I think your plan of shooting for around 60% sounds like it would work.

Does anyone have any pipping going on...It is day 19 for me and the suspense is killing me. No rocking, no rolling, no peeping...sheesh.

Patience my love haha! I'm on the brink of day 18 and about to go into lockdown. I'm telling myself that I'm not going to be checking the incubator until Saturday morning (12 hrs in on Day21) but I'm already listening every time I pass it on the chance I may hear cheeping haha! I'm going to be a complete bloody nervous wreck!!!!!

You've got t post pics as soon as they hatch otherwise I'm gonna be coming after you haha!

Tick...tock...tick...tock...sheesh. This morning the little birds are hatching in the trees outside my house. I thought it was my bator but...nope

Argh! I feel your pain, we've got a birds nest just outside our dining room window and the incubator is in the dining room. I could hear cheeping when I came downstairs this morning and got all excited

Looking forward to Saturday - providing we get a decent hatch that is!!!

Good luck! Keep yourself busy - go for a long walk or out shopping etc. Hope the wait goes quickly for you!

I woke up this morning to a pip.

It is day 20 for me so they are right on time. I've been looking at the bator for 2 days with nothing so a pip is something to celebrate.

I'm so excited for everyone! I am going into lock down tonight! I thought it was tomorrow, but calculated wrong! All ready to go...more than ready, actually!

Yay for pips!

Day 19 for me (with broody hen) and can't hear anything but the hen seems to think things are going well. She is very clucky today. This makes me feel better. I was a nervous wreck earlier this week, sure I'd done something wrong and the eggs wouldn't hatch. I can't wait to see how everyone does! Hang in there!
