It'll happen. I would say to keep busy, go see a movie/go shopping etc but I'd be the biggest hypocrite. Mine were early but once I saw that first pip - I was a bloody loon! I couldn't concentrate on anything, got practically nothing done at all ALL day yesterday and even today I've not been much better because I've still got an egg to go... Nightmare lol! The chicken eggs haven't started doing anything yet though - I figure they're on time. If it was a temp spike that caused the turkeys to be early, it must have been in that first week.

No.10 has hatched but he's not looking too clever - the others were running around the incubator pretty much straight away, this guy's just slumped down and is sleeping. He's much wetter than they were too - I guess all I can do is wait - that's all any of us can do really.

I'm becoming a grouch. The planets are aligning for me to be the grumpiest person ever. I'm finishing up my last few days of a job I am really not happy with, not inspired to do much work so I keep lurking on this forum watching everyone hatch. Keep texting my son for an update on the eggs only to get no news...No action, no pips...no wiggles.

First timer, I locked down 23 eggs at 5:00 AM, about 8 hours late but I added 3 eggs the second day.
Using a free beat up LG that took some repairs. Held temp pretty well but there were a couple spikes and dips. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed. If I have any success at all I'll invest a little more money than $0.

Wow! My little guys are popping out like popcorn. I was hoping they would wait until my daughter gets home from school, but I don't know if I will have any left by then.

YAY!!! Congratulations on your babies!!!

Update from me - all 11 turkeys that made it into lockdown hatched. The one chicken egg that I left in the incubator was still unpipped (but cheeping away) so I slipped that under my mama hen with her other eggs so that I could clean my incubator.

My babies are just awesome. I've only got a make shift brooder from scraps that I had lying around and I'm too nervous to go to bed in case they get too hot or too cold

The good news is though that they are all eating and drinking!!! Even without a little trainer chick to help them and with very little effort from me. I just put the food on a sheet of foil and dipped their beaks in the water as I placed them in the brooder. My camera is out of batteries right now and I'm waiting for some to charge. Hopefully I'll share a pic of all my fuzzy butts in their brooder soon
