I have a cochin pullers that may, at some point, be used to brood chicks. I was wondering if she would be a good mother or not because she is VERY protective, which I think is good but with she attack her own chicks? She's not aggressive she's really just protective of herself and food. So, would she be a good mother once she goes broody or would one of our other cochins or chickens work for the "job"?
