Good hatching vibes, please! - UPDATE - Pics now

Yesterday was day 14 on my quail eggs, 60 from shelleyd2008, and 10 I got from shay20.

I've had some very poor results hatching quail, I've never hatched more than TEN.

This time, I practically ignored the incubator (Brisnea 20) except to turn the eggs and add water. Now it's on lockdown.

Everyone, please, I need good hatching vibes!! This is my last go with quail. If I do poorly AGAIN, I am giving up.

I'm not currently hatching anything, so you can have all my hatching vibes!
Just based on the number of eggs set; You should get way more than 10 this time. Even at a slightly low 50% hatch rate, you should get at least 35 good (bator to brooder) chicks. Just my guess. Your results may vary

Not sure about ignoring an incubator, but trying to over tweak one usually does more harm than good.

Best of luck with your hatch, and please let us know what happens 4-6 days from now.

I hear ya on poor hatches...I just got 3 out of 22 eggs. But, 3 is better than none. LOL.

I woke up this morning to...


A HUGE mass of peeping quail in the incubator! I mean, TONS. I can't even come close to counting them.

And some are SO beautiful. This is far more quail than I've ever hatched before, and they might not even be done.

I will get pictures when I take them out of the incubator, going to give them a bit longer.

Those hatching vibes really worked!!!
