Since one year we have 3 chickens. an Wyandotte, a true green and the third..( can't come up with the breed right now, had a rough night with our 5 month old kitty that got spayed yesterday, she and I where up all night 🙈)
We got them as pullets, because I wasn't sure how our kitties would react to little chicks, and sadly we don't have a garage, so everything happens in the house.
I grew up for a little while with chickens, so I knew at some point I would like some as well.
I ended up in this forum because I was searching for an option to have an automated door for my eglu go up.... so far no solution 🤷🏻‍♀️. But after a 25 F start into this morning I am more determined then ever.
I also follow the 3 hot zone gardening, to bring nature back into our yard by creating a closed circle. Not quite there yet.
We have a bunny that lives next to our chickens and two 🐈.

Welcome to BYC! I have an automatic coop door made by Omlet, the same manufacturer that made your coop. It's so strange that their own coop door doesn't seem to be compatible with their coop. I installed the Omlet coop door in my DIY coop and it works great; I hope you are able to find a solution that works for you.

Yes sadly I didn't look into that before I got the eglu go up. There is one company from England that is supposed to fit on the eglu go up , but it would cost me about $360 after shipping and currency exchange....not for 3 chickens. So I am hoping that other eglu go up owners have some ideas.
